Core Idea – A
marketplace connecting startups and freelancers offering a wide variety of
services.
Niche – The marketplace
is meant for startups to discover various service providers. This niche ensures
that only those service providers which are targeting startups will list
themselves.
Benefits to Startups
– Startups can focus on their core business and vendors to outsource the rest
using the app. Also startups can not
only find a vendor but also negotiate and finalise on the app itself.
CONCERNS
Competition – The
startup will have to compete with freelancing sites and other sites which work
on a similar model.
Differentiation –
The startup needs to focus more on differentiating itself with its competitors.
Freelancing sites operate in a similar way, though they may not necessarily be
focusing on a niche. Purely targeting a niche may not be a factor enough to
sustain the startup in the future.
