Startup Model – Smart Devices to Trigger Actions

The Model: A small, intelligent button-like device to trigger various actions. The device can be physically used in 3 modes – clicking it once, a double clicking it and a holding it down. Each mode has to be first connected with some action or app, which it should trigger. Some actions which are possible include taking a photo, playing music, posting on social media, dimming lights ordering food etc.

What I Like:

Core Idea – A device which can be used to trigger different actions and apps.

Ease of Use – It is small, visually appealing and can make various actions as easy as clicking a button.

Great Design – The device is small, soft, water and dust resistant, sticky and has a standard battery which can be replaced anytime.

Novelty Value – I just love the concept!!!

My Concerns:

Pricing – The product offers value based on it’s novelty and the convenience it adds. Since the product is more ‘want’ than ‘need’, the pricing needs to be just right  to encourage user adoption.
